Effective November 1, 2019, McGill, Power, Bell & Associates LLP is moving into the former location of BKD, LLP at 2402 West 8th Street and is adding 15 staff and five new partners to MPB’s team. The five new Erie partners include:
Chris Salandra – holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting from Gannon University and has over 20 years of tax, accounting, compliance and consulting experience. Chris provides insights and solutions to his clients, which include a broad base of leading Erie businesses such as manufacturers, restaurants, hotels, retailers and medical groups. He has assisted clients with cost segregation studies, creation of IC-DISCs and other tax planning opportunities.
Mitch Kalkhof – earned his Bachelors’ in Accounting and Masters’ of Business Administration from Penn State Behrend. He has almost 20 years of experience in performing and supervising audit, review and compilation engagements. His clients include not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, municipal governmental authorities and other closely-held businesses. In addition to being a CPA, Mitch is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Matt Zinna – earned his Bachelors’ in Accounting and Management from Mercyhurst College. He has more than 15 years of experience providing audit and assurance services, primarily to not-for-profit organizations, including audits in accordance with Single Audit requirements and Government Auditing Standards.
Vincent Halupczynski – holds a Bachelors’ in Accounting from Saint Bonaventure University. He provides clients with insights and solutions based on more than 35 years of wide-ranging audit, accounting and consulting experience. A substantial number of the clients he serves are not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans.
Jeff Beach – earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting from Thiel College. He has more than 30 years of experience providing an array of services ranging from tax compliance and wealth management to estate planning and operational issues. One of his focus areas is consulting with owners of family-run businesses on the transfer of ownership and/or wealth to the second and third generations. Jeff also serves multiple clients in the manufacturing and distribution industry with accounting systems covering profit centers that include service, parts, warranties and sales, as well as manufacturers responding to changes in the global marketplace.
