Everyone experiences milestones in their lives that trigger the need for financial planning. Whatever the reason that calls attention to the need for planning, it is what we are planning for that becomes most important. The purchase of a house, college, retirement, and the security of our family in the event of our death are among these "targets" for planning.

There are many sources for financial plans, but accountants offer virtually a unique service. We have no "product" to sell in the form of insurance or types of investments. Therefore, we can offer independent, unbiased planning.

McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP has an on-going program of training personnel in the area of personal financial planning. Products of this training are Bob McMunigle, a Manager in the Meadville Office, and Karen Benson, a Manager in the Erie Office, who have earned certifications by the AICPA as Personal Financial Specialists (PFS).
