John C. Stillwaggon graduated from Grove City College in 1984 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He associated with McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP in 2000. Prior to joining McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP, John was a Manager with a Big Four accounting firm and a Partner with a regional firm in Pennsylvania. He serves as the Director of the Firm’s Nonprofit Service Group and Chairman of the Marketing Committee.
His areas of specialization are governmental and nonprofit entities.

Past member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), in which he served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of GFOA and the Special Review Committee for Excellence in Financial Reporting at the national level.

Member of the Institute of Management Accountants, having served as President of the Harrisburg Chapter and as a member of the National Board of Directors.

John has
taught courses for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and Leadership Harrisburg on subjects related to
nonprofit issues.
He has also conducted numerous seminars presented to the
nonprofit community.
He has written articles for the newsletter of the Pennsylvania Association
of Nonprofit Organizations and the Tri-State Tax Exempt Roundtable. He also
has contributed to the Firm’s Newsletter, Nonprofit Insights.
