Kristie Welcomer Earns CPA License

MPB is pleased to announce that Kristie Welcomer has earned her license as a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania.

Kristie is a Senior Accountant at the firm and has over four years of experience in the profession, specializing in individual and business tax preparation. She also has a background in non-profit and government entities.

She’s a graduate of Penn State Behrend where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, summa cum laude, and a Master of Professional Accounting degree. Kristie’s a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kristie is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an International Business Honor Society, associated with AACSB International.

The CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest standard of competence and requires advanced knowledge in the areas of Audit & Attestation, Business Environment & Concepts, Financial Accounting and Reporting, and Regulation. It’s a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality.
