Alexis is a Staff Accountant at McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP. She has more than five years of internship and full-time experience with the firm providing accounting and auditing services her clients.

Alexis’s public accounting experience is focused in providing audit and other attest services to clients in a variety of different industries. She specializes in performing audits for non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. Her responsibilities include managing the in-charge role for numerous employee benefit plan audit engagements, including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, defined benefit plans, and 403(b) retirement plans.

Alexis graduated with distinction from Penn State Erie, the Behrend College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Management Information Systems. While attending college, she was awarded the T. Reed Ferguson Award in leadership and the Outstanding Accounting Student Award for her class. She is a member of Behrend’s Women’s Engagement Council and is frequently invited back to speak to classes and to participate in Alumni events. Alexis also regularly speaks to local high schools about the benefits of public accounting and the perks of a membership with the PICPA.

Since 2015, Alexis has served as a Girl Scout leader for a troop located in North East, PA, where she aids in building the girls’ skills and talents through a variety of fundraising and educational experiences.

Alexis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the

Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
